Bear Paw Outfitting has a long standing reputation as a trophy producing outfit. A maximum effort on the part of myself and our staff are guaranteed to all our clients.
Our hunting is fair chase and sustainable. We are committed to hunting in a manner that does not give the hunter an unfair advantage over the game animals. We do not hunt high fences.
Bear Paw hunting guides and outfitters provide Alberta hunting opportunities for trophy big game hunting including white-tailed deer, mule deer, black bear, moose and elk in wilderness areas around Peace River, Alberta, Canada. Experienced guides provide rifle hunting, bow hunting and black powder hunts for Boone & Crockett trophies.
Guaranteeing a trophy, however, is another thing. Until we are able to control the weather, your physical condition and your shooting ability, all we are able to do is give you 100% effort. Our repeat client rate of 83% is a tribute to the effort and integrity of our operation.
Peace River is situated on the edge of Alberta's wilderness. Wildlife is abundant with a large variety of species. The scenery in the river valleys here in the spring and fall is absolutely breath-taking.
Remembering Scott Taylor
I lost my husband, Scott Taylor, to a sudden heart attack on March 15th of 2016. Scott was just 52 when he passed away. He loved drag racing and had recently discovered a love for farming. But, nothing compared to his love of hunting. One of his bucket list items that he was able to do before his passing was go on a Cape Buffalo hunt with Cody Archibald and good friends, Andrew Pringle and Rad Robertson, of Crusader Safaris in South Africa. He enjoyed this trip so much.
Scott loved his three children: Brittany, Dallas, and Kaitlyn; his step-daughter: Amanda; and our two granddaughters: Tayler and Rylyn; very much. He is sorely missed by all of us and together we remember and celebrate his life, the life of my partner in crime, with a tear and a smile. The one I laughed with, dreamed with, and loved.
