Bear Paw’s moose hunts were once again 100% successful. We had four moose hunters who harvested three bulls all over 40”. The best is a 46” bull taken by Darrell Heiden on the last night with veteran guide, Justin Redlick.
Our moose population is excellent and the quality is improving each year thanks to the limited entry hunting.
This moose hunt is perfect for the hunter in search of a high success rate with lodge accommodation and is a great combination with Elk or Black bear.
We maintain a 40” average and multiple moose sightings is the norm.
The September hunt is a rut hunt where calling is the primary method. And November is a non-rut hunt in the farm country where it is spot and stalk.
